It all began while I was studying Aerospace Engineering. University life was expensive, and I needed to find a way to pay for tuition. I tried many things that didn't work until one day, I remembered what I was truly good at. Back in school, I had a small green chalkboard where my friends gathered as I explained physics and mechanics to them. They always said I made learning fun and simple. That memory reminded me of my real talent: Teaching.
I decided to give it a real try. I created a profile on UniversityTutor.com offering math help. My first student lived far away I charged just €12 an hour and took three buses, spending two hours each way. The first class went terribly. I was nervous, unprepared, and sweating the entire time. But even after that difficult experience, I didn't give up.
I applied to several academies around Madrid, hoping someone would give me a chance. My first interview went badly, and I was rejected for "lack of experience." I walked out of the building frustrated and disappointed. For a moment, I thought maybe this wasn't the path I should take. But something inside me told me not to stop there.
Soon after, another student reached out through the same website. This time, I promised myself to be ready. I prepared every detail of the lesson. That student happened to be part of the IB (International Baccalaureate) program something I had never heard of before. I became deeply curious, asking endless questions and learning everything about IB subjects and exams. I wanted to be the best teacher this student ever had.
The student's mother noticed my dedication. Her son started to enjoy studying again, and his confidence grew. She told other parents about me, and soon, more students started to join. That was the moment I realized this wasn't just a job anymore. This was something bigger.
More IB students began to trust me with their learning journey. Each class helped me refine my methods, understand students' struggles, and find better ways to make complex ideas simple. Teaching went from a part-time job to a full-time passion.
What started with one student and a green chalkboard has now become BrightFuture Academy a place built on the belief that every student can achieve excellence with the right guidance. Our mission is simple yet powerful: To help every student discover their potential and build a brighter future.
